Hi,

I’m Gino delos Reyes, a filmmaker and editor with a passion for dynamic storytelling, originally from Manila and now exploring new creative opportunities in Canada. Over the years, I’ve had the privilege of directing and editing across various mediums—commercials, music videos, and award-winning short films. My latest directorial project, Notice of This Connection (2024), delves into themes of love and redemption, showcasing my commitment to emotionally resonant narratives. My earlier short film CopyKat received critical acclaim and further established my voice as a director.

As the editor of Sunod (2019), a Netflix Philippines film, I was nominated for Best Editing at the 2020 Metro Manila Film Festival. With a decade of experience working on projects for brands like Manulife, Coca-Cola, McDonald’s, Toyota, Honda, and Nestlé, I’ve cultivated a deep understanding of how to craft stories that engage and move audiences. Drawing inspiration from directors like David Fincher and the Propaganda Films legends, I aim to combine technical precision with emotional depth.

Since relocating to Canada, I’ve expanded my skill set as a cinematographer, working on sports broadcasts such as the Thunder Bay Border Cats for ESPN+ and the WBSC Women’s Baseball World Cup for the MLB Network.

When I’m not behind the camera or in the editing suite, I’m usually jamming on my guitar, sketching out ideas, or watching the latest music video, ad, or film to spark new inspiration. I’m also a massive gamer—immersing myself in video games is another way I stay connected to compelling storytelling. And of course, I’ve got a serious love for specialty coffee to keep the creativity flowing!
